About this Provider

Mark Michaels, MD, is vice president and chief medical officer for UF Health St. Johns’ team of employed ambulatory providers. As chief medical officer, Dr. Michaels serves as the clinical leader for all primary care ambulatory service lines. He works with all staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care are provided from every UF Health St. Johns ambulatory venue. Maintaining the highest standards for patient safety, medical care and satisfaction are his top priorities. Dr. Michaels represents all the providers and also sees patients at UF Health Primary Care – Greenbriar.

Dr. Michaels is an American Board of Family Medicine certified physician. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University, a master’s degree in basic medical sciences from Wayne State University, and a bachelor’s degree in brain, behavior and cognitive science from the University of Michigan.
